Dear Members,

I have experienced a great deal of growth during this year as EWI-Huntsville Chapter President! I strived to educate membership with some tools that could benefit each of our CAREERS within our firms, create new and fun ways for us to create stronger CONNECTIONS with one another, while working to serve the COMMUNITY.

  • We had the privilege of hosting our Executive Women of Tomorrow Conference at Calhoun Community College, offering mentorship and guidance to young college-bound high school girls.
  • We hosted the Reading Rally for the children of University Place Elementary.
  • We raised money, celebrated the holidays, donated clothing and winter coats, and gathered much-needed school supplies for the families served by Village of Promise.
  • Finally, we donated $5000 in college scholarship funds to 4 extraordinary young women from right here in Madison County to continue to pursue their dreams and educational aspirations!

I am proud that we accomplished much this year, and have touched the lives of many. It has been an amazing and exhilarating year, and I hope that you strengthened your own confidence, leadership skills, and friendships within EWI as much as I have.

Thank you for giving me the privilege to serve as your President and I wish each of you continued success!

Valora Gurganious
Chapter President
